Acoustic laminated glass is produced to provide sound insulation in areas with high sound and noise. The acoustic PVB interlayer with sound insulation feature used between the glass plates absorbs the high-frequency sound waves coming from the outside and acts as a noise barrier. In this way, a quiet environment is created and the quality of life is increased.

Correction Factors

C and Ctr Spectrum adaptation values ​​evaluate the suitability of construction parts in relation to exposure to certain sounds. These correction factors, called C and Ctr spectrum compatibility values, reduce the Rw sound insulation measure of the component due to the noises occurring according to the EN table.

For example: A component with Rw (C, Ctr) = 36 (-1,-2) has an insulation performance of 36 dB. Sound insulation is 1 dB lower for higher frequency noise sources and 2 dB lower for low frequency sources.
