Colored flat glass is obtained by adding various coloring metal oxides to the colorless flat glass blend. Colored glass plates can be used directly or combined with low-emission glass (Low-E) in laminated glass, tempered glass, mirror and thermal insulation glass unit. Colored flat glass is generally preferred in architectural structures. Düzce Float Glass produces smoked, bronze, green and blue glass with suitable light properties, taking into account customer needs and expectations.

- Compared to colorless flat glass, it reduces the irritating rays from the sun with low internal and external reflection.
- Provides additional thermal insulation performance when combined with a low emissivity glass.

Light Transmittance: It is the percentage of sunlight entering the glass through the glass.
Light Reflection: It is the percentage of reflection of sunlight coming to the glass back by the glass.
Total Sunlight Transmittance: It is the percentage of the total sunlight coming through the glass through the glass. Lower total sunlight transmittance means better solar control.
Thermal Permeability: It is the criterion of thermal insulation in glasses. A lower U value means better thermal insulation and less heating costs.
